Jason Burden

Jason Burden and his wife Ashley live out in the country on the farm with their young son (and one on the way). They all enjoy hunting, fishing, horseback riding and being outdoors. "I have been hunting as long as I can remember, starting with small game and have been addicted ever since," Jason says. 

Jason regularly works booths and seminars at NWTF conventions in Nashville,TN and local Gander Mountains locations. He is the regional manager for Montana Decoy Company for KY and TN. Jason has participated in competitive coon hunts in KY,TN, IL, IN and OH over the past five or six years. He is a a member of Ducks Unlimited, NWTF, Buckmasters, UKC, PKC and AKC Kennel Clubs. These associations keep Jason very busy.
 
Jason offers two bits of advice on hunting, regardless of species:

• Be Patient. Don't get discouraged or aggravated.
• Put in your time in the woods. You can't harvest an animal in the  bed or sitting on the couch talking about it. Get out there! Time in the woods will pay off with the experience you will gain.
